Students at West Springfield High School are preparing to take their College Board Advanced Placement exams during the weeks of May 5-9 and May 12-16. While AP students have yet to sit for their exams, many remain confident in their ability to succeed. In the words of one student, “We’ve been preparing for this all year.”
While the anticipation of the exams might cause some students to feel anxious, many are countering this feeling with a more pragmatic approach, stating that they will dedicate more time to studying as they prepare for the exams. For many students, these exams have come to represent a sense of closure for all the hard work they did in their AP courses this year as well as the final hurdle before a long-awaited summer break!
