West Springfield High School’s 2025 yearbooks are currently on sale from now until June 8, 2025. The price of a yearbook is $80, not including customizations. If you are interested in getting a yearbook, fill out the form and return it with your payment to Mr. Bernard in Room B133. This year’s theme is “Westify Wrapped,” inspired by the “Spotify Wrapped” motif.
Ordering a yearbook is easy. Simply pick up an order form from one of the following locations: the Main Office, the Counseling Office, or visit Mr. Bernard’s classroom and grab an order form from the file folder that is taped to the wall outside Room B133. Then, fill out the form with your choices. Again, you can choose to order a plain yearbook or one that is customized. Customizations vary in price. According to Mr. Bernard, “Students can add up to 29 characters of personalized text … for just $8.00.” Students can also add up to four icons that represent various extracurricular and academic activites for $6.00 each. Additional customizations include a clear protective cover for $6.00 and an autograph section, also for $6.00.
Once your order form is completed, return it to Mr. Bernard in Room B133 or to the Main Office. Students can also mail their yearbook orders to West Springfield High School using the address listed on the form. Payment may be cash (if you deliver your order form in person to B133 or the Main Office) or check or money order made payable to West Springfield High School. All orders must be prepaid!
Again, yearbook orders can be placed on or before June 8th, Graduation Day! While most schools end their yearbook sales in the early spring, Mr. Bernard likes to keep it open until the seniors graduate, ensuring that anyone who wants a yearbook can order one. In fact, Mr. Bernard has even had students hand deliver their yearbook orders to him at the graduation ceremony. Once June 8th passes by, yearbooks sales close. So, now is the time to order your 2025 yearbook!
Students can expect to pick up their yearbooks some time in August. Mr. Bernard will notify buyers via email of when Yearbook Pick Up Day will be. He says, “It’s a fun little time; people can come in and get their yearbooks and see their friends before going off to college or the military or whatever else the future holds.”
In addition, students and their families have the option of donating a yearbook to a student who might not be able to afford one. This is a kind and generous act to help out seniors who are less fortunate. The yearbook staff sees quite a few yearbook donations each year.
Still unsure whether you should get a yearbook? Just consider how much fun it will be to look back on all your high school memories. While it might be hard to justify the price, the money earned from the yearbook sales and advertisements go straight to paying the publisher, whose costs exceed the price students pay. Generous community donations and parent ads as well as the Yearbook staff’s marketing help to keep the cost down for students so, in the end, they get an affordable yearbook. Look out for the “early bird discount” that is offered at the beginning of each year. Although the 2024-2025 early bird sale is over, the 2026 yearbook order form will come out in August, at which time you can order next year’s yearbook for a discounted price. The early bird discount for the 2026 yearbook will be valid until September 30, 2025.
